Axios (Greek: Αξιός) was a former municipality in the Thessaloniki regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, the town is part of the municipality Delta, of which it is a municipal unit.[1] It is named after the river Axios. Population 6,780 (2001). The seat of the municipality was in Kymina.
